Founded by Taylor, this is a brand rooted in grit, curiosity, and a drive to keep learning. What started as experimenting with acid etching copper in a garage quickly turned into something more—a deep dive into machining, materials, and design.

And it shows in the work.

Taylor didn’t follow a traditional path. He taught himself—how to force patina, how to work across a wide range of materials, and how to take an idea from a sketch to a finished piece you can carry every day. That hands-on approach is at the core of everything TRA Designs produces.

The turning point came with the creation of the Chugger Chameleon.

What started as a concept quickly evolved into a platform for experimentation. Produced in nearly 30 different materials, the Chugger isn’t just a tool—it’s a showcase of how design, material choice, and real-world use all come together. And it’s still evolving.
