The product of years of extensive research, development, and engineering, its current fifth-generation version sets a new standard of excellence in the form and function of the lockback folding knife. Its highly refined lockback mechanism offers remarkable strength, precision, and ease of operation. On the business end, a variety of premium stainless steel blades provide low-friction edge geometry, extreme toughness, and exceptional edge retention. It also incorporates an index-finger choil that allows a forward grip for enhanced control. A four-position pocket clip offers left or right-side tip-up or tip-down carry and complements the advanced design to create completely ambidextrous carry and operation.

All these advanced features were pioneered with the G10 handled Native 5, but quickly inspired lightweight versions of the design with injection molded FRN handles and premium versions with state-of-the-art CPM S110V and Maxamet blade steels.
