(Python Micarta Handles and 2.5″ AEB-L Stainless Steel Plain Satin Blade)
In stock (can be backordered)
Woods Monkey’s first knife, the Banana Peel, also happens to be the first L.T. Wright made folder released to the public. It offers an innovative take on one of the oldest folding knife designs, the Friction Folder. Dubbed the World’s First Modular Friction Folder, the Banana Peel lets you swap blades and handles so you can tweak, upgrade, and customize to your heart’s content!
A variety of blade shapes, steels, handle materials and thicknesses are available so you have a “parts chest” of options to choose from or tailor to a specific situation. Blades can be changed out to suit the job at hand, or swapped when it starts to get dull so you won’t have to worry about sharpening until later. The spine of the blade is left crisp so it can be used to scrape or strike a firesteel when in the closed position.
This model features 1/4″ Python Micarta handle scales.
