After nearly a decade working behind the scenes in the knife industry, we saw a gap. Talented makers were being overlooked. Passionate customers were treated like transactions. Innovation was too often pushed aside in favor of profit.
We believed both makers and customers deserved better.
So, we built Howling Dog EDC to bridge that divide.
Our mission is simple:
to support the creators pushing the boundaries of craftsmanship and to place their work into the hands of people who truly appreciate it.

Trevor — Founder & Knife Nerd-in-Chief
Trevor is the heart and soul of Howling Dog EDC. With over 10 years in the knife industry, he’s an expert in blade steels, materials, shapes, use-cases, and just about any product question you can throw his way.
He started out as a behind-the-scenes “website backend” guy surrounded by knives, quietly learning everything he could. Today, he’s stepped into the frontman role—driven by a deep passion for innovation and a desire to help reshape an industry he loves.

Sabrina — Creative Director & Social Media Sorceress
Sabrina is the creative force and fun behind Howling Dog EDC’s social presence. With a designer’s eye and a love for storytelling, she brings personality and color to an industry that often plays it safe.
Come October, she’s truly in her element—showcasing as many brands and knives as possible in 31 days of content. From lifestyle-driven Instagram photos to funny, informative TikToks, Sabrina creates posts that help you imagine how each knife fits into your everyday carry.
Her goal is simple: make the knife world more approachable, more creative, and a lot more fun.
Mika — OG Husky & Senior Treat Tax Collector
Mika is our original husky and proud senior treat tax collector. A classic Siberian Husky, she’s best known for doing whatever she wants, whenever she wants.
You’ll often find her escorting new visitors directly to the treat box—where she fully expects tribute to be paid to her very convincing smile. She’s also the number-one reason your order may arrive with a light dusting of husky glitter.
And yes… she says, “You’re welcome.”
Phantom — The Big Baby & Resident Shadow
Phantom is our big baby and resident shadow. Wherever you go, he’s not far behind—quietly observing, leaning in for attention, or checking to make sure everything is running as it should.
Equal parts protector and cuddle monster, Phantom embodies the loyal, watchful spirit behind Howling Dog EDC. If Mika brings the chaos, Phantom brings the calm—and together, they complete the pack.
