Designed by personal-defense trainer Michael Janich, the Yojimbo 2 is an evolved expression of his original Yojimbo design, which pioneered the use of the Wharncliffe blade in tactical folders. The Yojimbo 2’s perfectly straight edge cuts with full power all the way to the tip, while its tapered spine creates an acute point for exceptional penetration. The design’s refined ergonomics complement the natural contours of the hand and encourage a thumb-forward grip that makes it a natural extension of the hand. Its open-backed handle features nested stainless steel liners, a high-strength Compression Lock mechanism, peel-ply-textured G-10 scales, and a versatile four-position pocket clip. Having earned iconic status among tactical folders, the Yojimbo 2 has also inspired several variations, as well as a “supersized” version appropriately named the YoJumbo
